Villa Maydou Boutique Hotel Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang

I stayed in one of the traditional rooms, and it was a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. The dark wood furnishings created a cozy atmosphere, and the layout was spacious with a large bed, a sitting area, and separate toilet facilities. The quality of cleanliness was perfect despite a slight musty smell, which didn't bother me. Overall, it was a good experience.

Each bathroom had a good setup, including a bathtub and a separate shower. The water pressure was excellent and that extra toilet was a thoughtful touch. My only minor critique was the absence of washbasins in some toilet rooms, but other than that, the facilities were well-maintained and served my needs perfectly.

The breakfast buffet was a daily highlight! Fresh fruit salads, yogurt, a variety of jams, and freshly baked bread delighted my taste buds. Plus, I loved the option of ordering eggs cooked any way I preferred. Each morning started off great thanks to this wonderful dining experience.

The pool area was a tranquil retreat. Despite being a bit small, it provided a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. The cleanliness of the pool and the surrounding sun loungers made it a perfect spot to unwind. I loved spending time there, especially after a visit to the city.
